Requesting a money order refund at Western Union takes up to 30 days to process if you’re a purchaser (which is someone who bought a money order). In order to request a money order refund, you must have your original money order form or receipt. Complete and sign the money order tracing-refund request, then send the form and the $15 nonrefundable processing fee to the Western Union customer service team. If you don’t have your receipt or lost it, follow all the former steps and send a $30 nonrefundable processing fee. The request may take up to 8 weeks to be processed, and you may not receive your refund if the customer service team rejects your request.
