Here are some commonly asked questions about Walmart:
Because Walmart already sells products at super low prices, the company doesn’t offer coupons or promo codes. There’s no need to have sales, coupons, or other codes when prices are the cheapest compared to any other retailer. However, there are sometimes clearance and rollback sales. To find the lowest prices on Walmart.com, click on any deal on our Walmart sales page, and you’ll be directed to the deal online. When you’re finished shopping, the deal will automatically apply at checkout.
Yes, Walmart offers layaway from August 28 to December 14 for all in-store purchases. There is no opening fee, and your down payment is either $10 or 10% (whichever is greater). You can use layaway for any purchase, such as toys, electronics, large furniture, jewelry, certain sporting goods, and small appliances. When you’re ready to purchase your items, you can pick them up from the pickup desk and pay at any register. Unfortunately, layaway is only available for in-store purchases. You can, however, use Walmart’s ship-to-store option when you purchase items online and have Walmart hold an item for up to 7 days after the order arrives at your closest retail store.
Yes! Walmart guarantees some of the lowest prices on all items (in-store and online), so if you find a lower price elsewhere, Walmart will match it as long as you meet a few guidelines. You have to present the online price and retailer to an employee, and the item must be in stock on the online retailer’s site. According to Walmart’s price-match policy, you can only buy one price-matched item each day. Walmart price matches a handful of online retailers, like Amazon.com and Target.com, which is great for scoring the best deals.
For most products, Walmart has a standard 90-day return policy, although some items have shorter windows for return (for example, lawn mowers have a 30-day policy, video game consoles have just a 15-day window, etc.). During the holidays, anything purchased between November 1 and December 24 can be returned, starting on December 26. Walmart also accepts returns without a receipt if you meet certain requirements, such as showing a photo ID. You can either receive a cash refund if the item is under $25 or a gift card if the amount is over $25. However, if you return an item without a receipt 3 or more times within a 45-day period, your ID will be flagged and a manager will have to approve any return for the next 6 months.

Sean answered on 9.23.16: It happened in slow motion. My three-year-old son grabbed my phone and jumped…into the kiddie pool. My iced tea spilled everywhere as I leapt from my lawn chair to try to salvage it. As the experts suggest, I let the phone sit in a bowl of rice overnight. read more »
