Here are some commonly asked questions about Dell Financial Services:
It doesn’t take a tech genius to get the lowest deals at Dell. All you have to do is apply a coupon at checkout! After you select a new techy product or software, move on to “My Cart.” Look over the product summary to see if everything is correct. When you scroll down, you’ll see an empty text field where you can enter your coupon number. Click on “Apply Coupon,” and your valid discounts will knock down the total price. Press the green “Checkout” button to lock in these savings.
Dell Financial Services accepts a handful of payment methods. You can either pay online, by phone, by mail, or through Autopay. If you want to pay online or use Autopay, you must first sign into your DPA (Dell Preferred Account) account. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Payment Center” link at the top or select the “Pay” link next to your account number. All payments made by 5 p.m. CT will be credited the same day; if made after 5 p.m., they will show up the following day.
There are 4 types of financial services you can choose from: Consumer, Small and Medium Businesses, Large Businesses, or Public & Nonprofit Organizations. Consumer financing solutions come with a large line of credit that gives you more purchasing power, 10% back in rewards, no pre-payment penalty or annual fee, and promotional offers. Small and Medium Business solutions are split into 2 forms: Dell Business Lease and Dell Business Credit. Each option comes with affordable monthly payments, no upfront costs, and tax benefits. Large Business solutions include Fair Market Value Lease and Finance Lease. Both help you stick to your budget with low monthly payments. Public & Nonprofit solutions have 4 options: DellFlex Lease, Tax Exempt Lease Purchase (TELP), Lease With Option to Own (LWOO), and Lease to Purchase (LTOP). These solutions will help you meet your business’ fluctuating budgets, revenue, and overall growth.
A PPT fee is a Personal Property Tax Management fee, which is required by certain states to be paid based on the value of the equipment. Dell Financial Services pays these fees directly to the taxing entity, which means you don’t have to pay them. Because of this, you may be charged an extra sales and usage tax on the value of this service. For more details and answers, reach out to a Dell Financial Services representative.
