From electronics and sporting goods to clothing and kitchen accessories, you can check off a lot of boxes on your shopping list at Target.
While you’re probably aware of the variety of products available, you might not know that Target encourages shoppers to get the best deals through online promo codes and printable coupons.
We’ve seen plenty of ways to get 10 off your purchase when shopping online or at the Target nearest you, and we’ve rounded up five ways to get a great deal — whether it’s 10% off your total or a special rebate of $10 off a particular purchase:
1. Check Today’s Coupon Codes at Target
Getting 10 percent off or more on online purchases at Target leads to some serious savings, especially if you’re a regular customer. We’ve rounded up the store’s top coupon codes to help you keep extra money in your pockets while still getting the high-quality, brand-name products you expect from Target.
DealCrunch uses a proprietary algorithm to scan the web hourly for the best offers, which we then rigorously test before featuring them on our site to ensure you’ll actually save money at checkout.
Use one of these deals to save 10% or more at Target:
Buy One Get One 50% Off - Stools And Dining Chairs
Up to 30% Off + an Extra 15% on Furniture. Online Only
20% Off Clothing for July 4th
2. Get Printable Special Offers from Target.com
Target’s variety affords you plenty of opportunities to stack up printable manufacturer coupons with Target’s own in-store sales and specials.
Luckily, Target has simplified the process of finding these printable coupons through its easy-to-navigate coupon site that allows you to sort by categories, including beauty, cleaning supplies, baby, and food. With each click of the “select to print” button under a coupon, Target will calculate your total savings. Once you’ve selected all your coupons, click “print selected coupons.”
Target will want to verify your device the first time you use the coupon system, so just enter your mobile phone number and you’ll receive a verification code via SMS text message. Once you’re verified, Target will organize all of your coupons for easy printing so you can avoid turning the newspaper circular into a jigsaw puzzle.
3. Target’s Cartwheel App Helps You Save In-Store
If you’re the type of shopper who prefers to save in stores without all the clipping, Target offers a free mobile app, Cartwheel, to unlock in-store offers.
The app, available for iOS and Android, gives you access to hundreds of offers on products you’re likely already placing in your cart. With a built-in scanner, you can check anything with a UPC code for savings of up to 50% off. Your selected offers are then organized into a personalized barcode that you’ll show at checkout to redeem the deals.
New Cartwheel app deals come out each Sunday, and offers can be used on as many Target runs as you want before a deal expires. For extreme savings, it’s good to know that Cartwheel offers are stackable with manufacturer’s coupons, store coupons, rebates, and the 5% everyday savings offered by the Target REDcard.
4. Browse the Weekly Ad for Current Promotions
Target also releases its weekly circular on Sundays, which highlights the best deals for the next seven days. This is a great place to look when planning out a weekly dinner menu if your local store has a grocery section or if you just want to browse which clothing items are discounted that week.
Not only does the weekly ad showcase upcoming sales, it also features coupons. For example, Target has offered $10 off a $50 grocery purchase coupon in past circulars.
While you’re browsing, you might want to take a look at some competitors’ weekly ads because you can easily get Target to price match other sales.
5. Subscribe to Target’s Email for Upcoming Deal Alerts
Since nobody wants to have to remember to visit Target.com or pick up a newspaper every Sunday for the weekly ad, if you sign up for Target’s email alerts you will be notified of any sales, including limited run coupons and digital weekly ads.
Even if you religiously read through circulars each Sunday, subscribing to Target’s email list means you’ll also receive exclusive offers that aren’t in the weekly ad or advertised in the store. Be sure to sign up so you don’t miss out on additional savings.
Time to Save on Your Next Target Run
Target certainly stands out for the variety and quality of its products, but it also goes above and beyond by helping its customers save on in-store and online purchases.
With so many ways to save money on the top brands at Target, you’ll have no excuse for putting off your Target run. But before you go shopping, don’t forget to check for online savings with our current list of Target coupons.
